RECIROCAL

RECIROCAL, in Mathematics, is applied to quantities which, multiplied together, make unity. Thus $\backslash frac\{1\}\{x\}$ and $x$, $y$ and $\backslash frac\{1\}\{y\}$ are reciprocal quantities. Likewise $\backslash frac\{1\}\{x\}$ is said to be reciprocal of $x$, which is again the reciprocal of $\backslash frac\{1\}\{x\}$.
