BIMLIPATAM, a town of Hindostan, in the Northern Circars, situated on the bay of Bengal. The Dutch had formerly a fort here; and in the adjacent country piece goods of various sorts are manufactured. It is twelve miles north from Vizagapatam. Long. 83. 35. E. Lat. 17. 50. N.
