BLANK, or BLANC, in a general sense, signifies white; and Blancus, or Blanca, is used to denote a kind of white or silver money, of base alloy, coined by Henry V. in those parts of France which were then subject to England, and valued at 8d. sterling.
BLANK also denotes a small copper coin, formerly current in France, at the rate of five deniers Tournois.
