BOLSCHAIA REKA, or the Great River, a river of Kamtschatka, which rises in a lake about 120 miles from its mouth. It flows into the sea of Okhotzk, in lat. 54. 52. N. It is navigable from its source to its mouth, and there is a lighthouse south of the entrance into the river.
