AURORA, one of the New Hebrides Islands in the South Sea, in which Mr Forster supposes the Peak d'Etoile mentioned by Mr Bougainville to be situated. It is about 12 leagues long, but not above five miles broad in any part; and it stretches nearly north and south. The middle lies in lat. 15. 6. S. long. 168. 24. E.
