BAUDELOT, CHARLES CÉSAR, a learned advocate in the parliament of Paris, distinguished by his skill in ancient monuments, was received into the Academy of Belles Lettres in 1705. He wrote a Treatise on the Advantages of Travelling, Letters and Dissertations on Medals, &c.; and died in 1722, aged 74.
