LUNEVILLE, an arrondissement of the department of the Meurthe, in France. It extends over 672 square miles, is divided into seven cantons and 209 communes, and contains 71,500 inhabitants. The capital is the city of the same name, at the influx of the Bézouze into the Meurthe. The situation is very fine, and the country around it fertile.
