MARIENBURG, a city of the kingdom of Saxony, in the circle of Erzgebirge, and bailiwick of Wolkenstein. It is a manufacturing place for cotton and linen goods, and near to it are some mines of silver, and others of tin, extensively worked. It contains 380 houses and 2750 inhabitants. Long. 16. 41. 40.
