MARSAC, a town of France, in the department of the Puy-de-Dome and arrondissement of Ambert. It stands on the left bank of the river Dore, and contains 620 houses, and 3100 inhabitants. There are carried on here manufactures of thread and silk lace, of ribbons and linen.
