tropolis, which sends two members to parliament; but the parish of Paddington, and a part of St Pancras, are united with it for this purpose. The population of this parish amounted in 1801 to 63,982, in 1811 to 75,624, in 1821 to 96,040, and in 1831 to 122,206. See LONDON.
