CHILLIS, or KHILLIS, an ancient town of Syria, in the pashalic of Aleppo, situated at the foot of Mount Taurus. Coins are sometimes found there, and are the only remains of antiquity which it possesses. It has fifteen mosques and large bazars, and is a noted mart for cotton. It is fifteen miles north of Aleppo.
