GOONEE, a river of Hindustan, in the province of Sinde, which rises in the hills of Poolejar, and flowing
a westerly direction, afterwards falls into the Indus, with which it forms a very large island called Majur. During the rainy season it is navigable for boats from Tandavie, a port of Cutch, to Hyderabad, the capital of India.
