PAPPAL, a district of Borneo, on the north-east coast, the limits of which, on the north, are Sampanmangio and Keemanees river, in latitude 5. 30. north. The productions of this coast are, in general, sago, rice, betel-nut, cocoa-nut oil, camphor, wax, pepper, and coarse cinnamon. It is well watered, and has the convenience of many rivers that are navigable for boats, and some for larger vessels.
