POORBUNDER, a town of Hindustan, on the southwest coast of the Gujerat peninsula. An agreement was concluded in 1808, between the Bombay government and the Rana Sertanjee and Coer Hallajee of Poorbunder, not to connive at any act of piracy committed by any person under their authority.
