HARLOW, a town of the county of Essex, twenty-three miles from London, in the hundred of the same name. It had formerly a market, but of late years it has not been frequented. The inhabitants amounted in 1801 to 1514, in 1811 to 1695, in 1821 to 1928, and in 1831 to 2101.
