HEIDENHEIM, a town of the kingdom of Wurtemberg, in the circle of Jaxt, the capital of a bailiwick of the same name, which extends over 208 square miles, and contains 26,500 inhabitants. The town is situated on the river Brentz, and has 300 houses, with 2320 inhabitants, occupied in cotton manufactures, ironmongery, and cutlery.
