BRAHILOW, or in Turkish IBRAHIL, a city on the northern bank of the Danube, in the province of Wallachia, in European Turkey. It has a strong citadel to defend the passage over the river, which is here divided into several branches. The trade of the place is considerable, both in corn and in preserved sturgeons.
