ESCHERSHAUSEN, a town in the Weser district of the duchy of Brunswick, on the river Lenne, containing, with Wickersen, 146 houses, and 1046 inhabitants. It is the capital of a bailiwick, which has 2030 houses, and 15,890 inhabitants.
