CROMER, a market-town of Norfolk, on the shore of the German Ocean, frequented in the summer by sea-bathers. It is 130 miles from London, and was once much larger, but the sea has encroached upon its limits. Its inhabitants amounted in 1811 to 842, in 1821 to 1023, and in 1831 to 1232.
