COMMIM, a town and district of Hindustan, in the Balaghaut ceded territories. The town is the capital of the district, and is seventy-three miles north from Cuddapah. The district is situated among the eastern Ghauts, between the 15th and 16th degrees of north latitude. It is of an irregular surface, and has many mountain streams, though no rivers of any magnitude.
