CONKAIR, a town of Hindustan, in the province of Gandwana, on the south bank of the Muhannuddy river, 105 miles south by west from Ruttunpoor. It is entirely surrounded by hills covered by thick woods, and inhabited by a barbarous race of mountaineers. Long. 83. 15. E. Lat. 20. 48. N.
