CORLEONE, a city of Italy, in the intendancy of Palermo, in the island of Sicily. It is situated on a volcanic soil, at the source of the river Belio. It contains 1868 houses, with 12,520 inhabitants, who are sedulously employed in agriculture, upon the most fertile of lands.
