MONTAGNANO, a city of Italy, in the Austrian delegation of Padua. It is situated on the Fiumecello, and is surrounded with walls. It contains a conventual and several other churches, with 8275 inhabitants, who are
occupied in woollen manufactures, in tanneries, and in making hats. It is situated in longitude 11. 25. 30. E. and latitude 45. 13. 3. N.
