WALAJA, or ABADNAGUR, a town of the south of India in the province of the Carnatic, situated on the north side of the Palar river. It is a place of considerable consequence, regularly built, rich and populous. By means of bullocks, it carries on a considerable trade between the sea coast and Mysore. Long. Lat.
