PAGI, ANTONY, one of the ablest critics of his time, was born at Rogné in Provence in the year 1624. He devoted himself to the study of chronology and ecclesiastical history, in which he excelled. His principal work is, a criticism on the Annals of Baronius, in which he has rectified a great number of mistakes both in chronology and in facts. Pagi died in 1699.
