NIJIBABAD, or NIJIBGUR, a town of Hindustan, in the province of Bareilly. It was built by a Rohilla chieftain, as a mart for the Cashmere trade, and is situated on the north branch of a small river which runs into the Ganges. Long. 78. 41. E. Lat. 29. 35. N.
