BOULAY, CESAR ÉGASSE DU (in Latin Bulaxus), was born at St. Eliez (Mayenne), in the beginning of the seventeenth century. He became successively professor of humanity at the college of Navarre, register, rector, and historiographer of the university of Paris. He died in 1678. Of his works the principal are, a History of the University of Paris, in Latin, 6 vols. folio, 1665 and 1673; and the Thesaurus of Roman Antiquities, 1651, folio.
