BONA, GIOVANNI, a learned and pious cardinal, was born in 1609, at Mondovi in Piedmont, and died at Rome in 1674. His principal work is his Rerum Liturgicarum Lib. II., Rome, 1671, which is an authority on all that pertains to the Roman service of the mass.
