BREHAR, BREYER, or BRYER, one of the Scilly isles, 30 miles west of Land's End, Cornwall. It is about 1½ mile in length, with an average breadth of half-a-mile, and a considerable portion of it is under cultivation. There are several barrows and Druidical remains in the island. On the east is New Grinsey harbour. Pop. (1851) 118.
