DROHOBYCZ, a town of Austrian Galicia, circle of Sambor, and 17 miles S.E. of the town of that name. It is situated on the Tiszmanicka; is a place of considerable trade, particularly in corn, cattle and salt; and contains several churches, convents, and schools, and about 8000 inhabitants, including the suburbs. In the vicinity are some salt mines.
