ENALIOSAURIA (ὁδῶς living in the sea, and σαῖρος a lizard), in Geology, a name given to the entire group of extinct saurian animals which are characterized by broad paddle-shaped feet, like those of the whale or turtle, and a head and trunk resembling those of the crocodile.
