QUINTANAR DE LA ORDEN, a town of Spain, in the province of Toledo, 63 miles S.E. of Madrid. It has two large squares, a good town-hall, church, prison, schools, hermitages, &c. Oil, flour, chocolate, soap, bricks, tiles, blankets, ropes, and other articles, are made here; and large markets are held. Pop. 5656.
