RASTENBURG, a town of Prussia, in the province of Prussia, and circle of Königsberg, on the Guber, 55 miles S.E. of Königsberg. It is distinguished by the high, red roofs of the houses; and contains a castle, several churches, a gymnasium, &c. Linen is woven here, and forms the principal article of trade. Pop. 4805.
