POLNA, a town of Bohemia, in the circle of Czeslau, not far from the Moravian frontier, 31 miles S.S.E. of Czeslau. It contains a church and a princely palace. The manufacture of cloth is carried on; this, together with agriculture and mining, occupying the most of the inhabitants. Pop. 6000.
