CHINCHILLA, a city of Spain, province of Murcia, picturesque situated on an abrupt hill ten miles S.E. of Albacete. Pop. 7565. It is surrounded by old walls, defended by a citadel, and has manufactures of earthenware and coarse linen and woollen cloths.
