CIUDAD REAL, or CIUDAD DE LAS CASAS, a city of Mexico, capital of the State of Chiapas, is situated in the plain of Guezacattan, about 430 miles S.E. of Mexico. It has a cathedral, four convents for monks and one for nuns, two chapels, hospital, and about 6000 inhabitants.
