CANE, a river of Hindustan, which has its source on the north side of the Vindhya mountains, in the province of Bundelcund at an elevation of 1700 feet above the sea. N. Lat. 23.54, E. Long. 80. 13. After a winding course of about 250 miles, it falls into the Jumna on its right bank at Chilatar.
