NEWTOWN-LIMAVADY, a market-town of Ireland, in the county of Londonderry, is situated on the Roe, 13 miles S.W. of Coleraine, and 15 E.N.E. of Londonderry. It has a large parish church; three Presbyterian and two Wesleyan churches; besides Independent, Roman Catholic, and Unitarian chapels; several schools; a market house; jail; dispensary; work-house; and savings-bank.
