NOWAGURH, a raj of India, subject to the political agent for the S.W. frontier. Its centre is in Lat. 20. 20. N., Long. 82. 25. E.; and it has an area of 1612 square miles. Pop. estimated at 68,000. The country is said to be among the worst governed of those within the circle to which it belongs.
