HENLEY-IN-ARDEN, a market-town in the W. of Warwickshire, on the Alne, 8 miles W. from Warwick, and 102 miles from London. It contains a church of the time of Edward III., remarkable for its beautiful interior, and the remains of an old market-cross. Nails, needles, and fish-hooks are made here. Market-day, Monday. Pop.
