BIDSCHOW, New, capital of a circle of the same name in the Austrian kingdom of Bohemia, is situated on the river Cydlina, 50 miles E.N.E. of Prague. It has some trade in cattle, with manufactures of linen and cotton goods and leather. Pop. 4000, of whom about 500 are Jews, who have a synagogue here.
