BOLSCHAIA REKA, or the GREAT RIVER, a river of Kamtschatka, which rises in a lake about 120 miles from its mouth. It flows into the sea of Okhotsk, in Lat. 54. 52. N. It is navigable from its source to its mouth, on the south side of which there is a lighthouse.
