AVESBURY, RORRER, of an English historian, of whom little more is known than that he was a keeper of the registry of the court of Canterbury in the reign of Edward III. He wrote a history in Latin of the reign of that prince, ending with the battle of Poictiers, in the year 1356. It was printed at Oxford in 1720 by Hearne.
