BADALOCIO, Sisto, a painter and engraver, born at Parma about the end of the 16th century. He was of the school of A. Caracci, by whom he was highly esteemed for design. His principal engravings are the series known as The Bible of Raffaello.—(Lanzi, Storia Pittor.)
