BAIOLENSIANS, or BAGNOLENSIANS, a sect of heretics in the twelfth century, who in reality were Manicheans, though they somewhat disguised their errors. They rejected the Old Testament and part of the New. They were a branch of the Cathari, and derived their appellation from Bagnolo in Provence.
