BEAULY, a village of Scotland, county of Inverness, situated on the north side of the river Beaul, where it flows into the Moray Firth. On this river there is a fine cascade called the Falls of Kilmorack. Beaul has the remains of a Cistercian abbey, founded in the year 1230. The port is accessible to vessels of ninety tons burden.
