JAROSLAW, a town of Austrian Galicia, circle of Przemysl, on the San, a tributary of the Vistula, 17 miles N.N.W. of the town of Przemysl. It has a castle belonging to Prince Czartorysky, a cathedral, normal school, and manufactures of woolen and linen cloths. Pop. about 4000.
