PASCUARO, or PATZCUARO, a town of Mexico, state of Mechoacan, stands on the S.E. shore of the Lake of Pascuaro, 30 miles S.W. of Valladolid. In the neighbourhood are copper mines; and at some distance the best sugar plantations in the state. Pop. 6000.
