PETZKA, or PECZKA, a market-town of Hungary, county of Arad, on the Maros, 10 miles W. of Arad. It consists of two parts, Magyar and Raitzisch Petzka; and contains a Roman Catholic church. The neighbourhood is fertile, producing wine in large quantities; and some trade is carried on in horses, cattle, sheep, and tobacco. Pop. (1846) 13,900.
