LENNOXTOWN, a town of Scotland, Stirlingshire, at the foot of the Campsie Hills, 12 miles N. of Glasgow by railway. It has several calico-print and alum works, besides bleachfields, collieries, and lime quarries in the neighbourhood. Pop. (1851) 3109.
